MCR MET Racing is more than just a university project, it's a platform for students to gain hands-on experience, push engineering boundaries, and compete at an international level. Our goal is to develop high-performance race cars while fostering collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence.
What is Formula Student?
Formula Student is a global competition where university teams take on the challenge of designing, building, and racing their own single-seater car. It brings together students from all over the world to test their engineering skills in a high-pressure, real-world environment.
Each team is responsible for every stage of the car’s development, from initial concepts and CAD designs to hands-on manufacturing and final performance testing. But it’s not just about building a fast car; teams also present business cases, cost reports, and design justifications to a panel of industry professionals.
