MCR MET Racing is the official Formula Student team of Manchester Metropolitan University, founded in 2007. Each year, we take on the challenge of building a competitive race car, competing in the internal combustion category. In the 2024/25 season, the university has also expanded its involvement to include an entry in the Electric Vehicle category. Our team works tirelessly to enhance our design, manufacturing, and performance to stand out in the Formula Student competition. We take pride in providing students with hands-on industry-relevant experience, pushing boundaries in engineering while creating a strong and supportive team environment.
